LifeBuilder Seminars for Women
LifeBuilder Seminars is a series of no fee seminars dedicated to “Equipping and Empowering Women For Life”. We are a group of women who look to encourage and build each other up through learning and sharing life’s experiences with one another. The young learn from the experienced and the experienced learn to stay young.

Who I really am is not based on who my emotions, circumstances, and even other people try to tell me I am. Who I really am, and who we all really are, is who God tells us we are. He calls us a chosen people (1 Peter 2:9). He says we have hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We are heirs to God’s Kingdom (Galatians 4:6-7). He says we are free of condemnation (Romans 8:1). In Christ we become new creatures (2 Corinthians 5:17). We are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). The list could go on and on, but my point is this: don’t mistake who/what the enemy calls you for who you really are! The only identity we need to be concerned with is our God-given identity. The enemy will not cease trying to make you forget it. We know his mission is to steal, kill and destroy. He seeks to drag us down to his lowly level, but God says he is already defeated!
So, if you’re ever in a place like I was (and even if you’re not), and find that you’re slipping away from your true self, the person that is created in God’s own image, fight hard to hang on! As you fight, know you aren’t fighting alone or by your own strength. That person that calls seemingly out of the blue just to tell you they love and appreciate you isn’t a coincidence. God knows our battles. Each person He places in our path is a strategic move on our behalf. He puts them there because He knows sometimes we need reminders of who we are in Him. Be encouraged by those reminders and embrace them. Encourage yourself also, so that when the enemy comes around expecting you to be afraid and defeated, you can tell him just who you really are!
